The basis of Stone Ridge Christian High School is the Word of God as interpreted by the following statement of faith. We believe….
- God the Father
That God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He eternally exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal, co-eternal and are one God. (Genesis 1:1,2; Matthew 28:19; John 1:3)
- God the Son
That Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father and possesses all the attributes of deity. (Matthew 1:22,23; John 1:1; John 10:30-33)
- God the Holy Spirit
That the Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and is a divine person possessing all of the attributes of God. (John 14:16,17; Acts 5:3,4)
- The Bible
That the Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God.
(II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20, 21)
- Man
That man was made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. Man’s sin has separated him from God. (Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23)
- Salvation
That salvation is God’s free gift to us but we must accept it by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness. (Ephesians 2:8,9; John 14:1-6)
- Eternal Destiny
That man was created to exist forever. We either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. (Revelation 20:15; John 14 1-6)
